Required Bank Documents for Limited Companies and Sole Traders
When onboarding as a limited company or sole trader, it is essential to provide the appropriate bank documents to ensure a smooth verification process. Please review the following information regarding the required bank documents for each business type:
Limited Company:
To verify a limited company, you must provide either a business bank statement or a welcome letter from the bank. It is important to note the following requirements:
- The bank account must be registered under the business name.
- The bank document should not be older than 3 months.
- We only accept bank documents that are provided by the bank, not screenshots from mobile applications.
- The bank document submitted must display a complete and clear picture, with all details visible.
- The bank document must contain the bank account number and the sort code, along with the business name.
Sole Trader:
For sole traders, the required bank documents are the same. You must provide either a business bank statement or a welcome letter from the bank. The following guidelines apply:
- The bank document should not be older than 3 months.
- We only accept bank documents that are provided by the bank, not screenshots from mobile applications.
- The bank document submitted must display a complete and clear picture, with all details visible.
Please ensure that you meet these requirements when submitting your bank documents for verification. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in delays in the onboarding process.
